Frank Monteleone
Chief People Officer, Rexall
Frank Monteleone is a strategic and influential leader and leads the people, strategy, and communications functions at Rexall Pharmacy Group. Recognized for his strong integrity and exceptional execution, Frank is a driving force in shaping Rexall’s culture.
Frank holds the esteemed Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) designation from the Human Resources Professional Association and is a Prosci ADKAR certified change management professional. His commitment to continuous development is further demonstrated by his Masters Certificate in Adult Training & Development from the Schulich Executive Education Centre. Frank also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics for Commerce from York University in Toronto and a diploma in Human Resources Management from Humber College.
Frank’s commitment to making a positive impact extends far beyond his corporate role at Rexall. Since 2018, Frank has served as the President and Board Chair for the Rexall Care Network, a charity that focuses on caregiving communities in Canada.

Valerie Peticca
Chief Human Resources Officer, Toronto Zoo
Valerie Peticca is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience and currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Toronto Zoo. Her career spans diverse sectors, including higher education and tourism, demonstrating her passion for people-centered leadership and expertise in organizational transformation.
Committed to building inclusive and resilient workplaces, Valerie brings a strong focus on holistic well-being and organizational excellence. She is also an active community volunteer, serving on boards that support social services. Valerie holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and is certified in Workplace Mental Health and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She is also a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner.

Mark Edgar
Chief People Officer, Wajax
Mark Edgar is a people-centric, strategic and innovative Chief People Officer and community builder with global experience developing and delivering impactful and business focused people strategies across a range of sectors. He has over 30 years’ experience building HR solutions across the broad HR agenda including transformational culture change, talent management, engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Mark has run his own consulting business and is currently the Chief People Officer for Wajax where he is responsible for HR, Environmental Health & Safety and Marketing.
An enthusiastic collaborator and thought leader, he is the co-founder of future foHRward – a community for HR professionals to build their capabilities and confidence in leveraging the opportunities that come from the new world of work. This includes a weekly newsletter and co-hosting foHRsight the podcast.
Mark lives in Canada with his wife and has two grown up daughters. He spends his time enjoying soccer – or what he calls football – and his RV Ramsay!

Ryan McEleney
Chief People & Culture Officer, American Eagle Financial Credit Union
Ryan proudly serves as Chief People & Culture Officer at American Eagle Financial Credit Union, the largest community credit union headquartered in Connecticut. His team includes traditional HR and Talent functions, as well as DEIB, CI/Process Excellence, and Data Analytics. Previously, he spent nearly twenty years at a large regional bank, benefiting from experience in a range of roles.
In addition to being an early advocate for data’s role in optimizing work experience and impact, Ryan is passionate about leadership, culture, inclusion, and the future of work. His People & Culture team works to create the ideal conditions for AEFCU’s talented team members to fulfill their mission of creating a world in which financial freedom is a reality for the credit union’s members.
Ryan is a University of Connecticut graduate. He is a Society of Human Resources (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional (SCP), Six Sigma Green Belt, and Development Educator. He is the co-founder of Walk With Us, a non-profit focused on supported families impacted by brain tumors and cancers. He lives in CT with his son, Caden, and daughter, Kyla, and dog, Bailey.
